Reunification Therapy
Used when a child is refusing or resisting time with a parent. The process consists of an assessment phase, a treatment phase and a monitoring phase.
Parent Coaching
Similar to parent coordination, used when parents are unable or unwilling to cooperate in a way that allows for minor conflicts to be resolved, strategies to minimize conflict and skills to resolve conflicts are the focus.
Parent Coordination
Helping parties to resolve conflict, making decisions if conflict can not be resolved, monitoring communication, and parent coaching.
Brief Focused Evaluations
Used to gather information for the courts regarding specific topics such as parent mental fitness, substance abuse issues, parent/child relational issues, allegations of child abuse, relocation risk and clinical child interviews
Specialized Therapy (Family or Individual)
Family: Used when high conflict dynamics are present to help protect children from triangulation, resolve minor family conflicts.
Individual: A service for a parent or child who may need specialized help regarding challenges created by high conflict dynamics, for parents who may be perpetrating pathogenic parenting behaviors.
Supervision Services
Used to supervise high conflict exchanges in order to protect children from conflict, may be necessary to supervise parents who have difficulty controlling pathogenic behaviors.
Expert Testimony
Providing expert opinion on matters related to custody, parent influence on child development and other related issues.
Case Consultation
Use to provide information regarding development of effective parenting plans specifically related to parties who may have high conflict characteristics.
Clinical Child Interviews
Review documents, parent interviews, as well as child interviews synthesized into a court report.
Home Inspection/Home Study
Used as supplemental information for evaluations when concerns regarding home environment are a priority. A qualified professional will come out to the home to inspect safety issues such as smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, electrical outlet covers or any other child proofing measures. Inspection of other items such as meeting the developmental needs of the child and cleanliness are included.This is a service that is provided to offer a sense of safety and security.
